IT Solution Delivery Manager

Our client is part of a Fortune 500 global trading and milling group with a significant presence in the international soft commodities trade. They need an experienced IT Solution Delivery Manager to take ownership of the delivery, support and optimisation of core ERP and CTRM systems across the trading business.

This is a key technology leadership role for someone who can partner with the business, lead internal and external delivery teams, and drive automation and digitalisation in line with group strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead internal and external IT solution delivery teams and vendors supporting core ERP and CTRM platforms.

• Ensure effective support, optimisation and continuous improvement of trading systems.

• Work with Trade business representatives to identify, prioritise and deliver automation and digitalisation projects.

• Manage onshore and offshore development and support models across custom development, SaaS and managed service arrangements.

• Shape delivery approach as IT’s structure, geographic reach and operating model evolve.

• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Programming or a related field.

• 8+ years’ experience leading and influencing technology teams.

• Experience launching and managing onshore/offshore captive or managed service models for development and support.

• Strong experience across software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

• Hands-on exposure to several of the following: PeopleSoft, Fendahl Fusion (CTRM/CTMS), Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, Node.js, Java, ASP.NET, C#, and other SaaS or custom platforms.

• Experience in commodity trading, soft commodities, milling or a related trading environment would be advantageous.
