Our client is a logistics and agricultural transport business seeking a dynamic and analytical Financial Manager to join their team. You will manage financial processes, systems and strategy, optimise cash flow, support decision-making, and drive operational excellence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete financial cycle: budgets, forecasts, financial planning and reporting.
Oversee debtors, creditors, bank transactions and cash management.
Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth and sustainability.
Support the management team with financial advice and risk analysis.
Identify and implement processes and systems to improve cost efficiency.
Provide regular management reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
Coordinate and support external audits and financial investigations.
Requirements
CA(SA) or CIMA qualification.
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a financial management role.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong management and leadership capabilities.
Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software.
Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills.
Strategic and proactive mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High accuracy and attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
